Nevin Compton Trammell, LCSW, Ed.D. is a career counselor and writer who has provided personalized counseling and assessment to hundreds of individual clients for more than a decade and a half. A mental health professional for more than twenty-five years, he has served individual clients, government, corporate and not-for-profit institutions.
Because of his own search for meaning in his work/career Nevin contacted a career counselor many years ago himself. That one phone call ultimately made all the difference in his life because the counselor gave him two invaluable things: some objective truth about the way things were, and some hope. It is largely because of this experience that he is dedicated to the work of helping others find more meaning and satisfaction in their worklife.
An avid life-long learner himself, he has a penchant for story-telling and writing short, evocative verse that engages readers to step back and take a deeper, sometimes humorous, but alway thought-provoking look at their own lives.
